The Salamander Towne
Square role-play chat room has been designed for
those individuals who seek a role-play environment
and community based on a fantasy/medieval setting.
Each room represents a section in Salamander such
as the Keeper’s Tavern and the Marketplace.
All of the public rooms that exist are for role-play
exclusively and an out of character(OOC) room, named
the OOC Hideway, has been designed for players who
would rather just meet and gather with other players
for out of character chat, rather than role-play.

the benefit of all members of Salamander Towne Square,
we request that all players choose a name that would
be appropriate and creative for a fantasy/medieval
RP environment and just as importantly, respectful
of other players. Members are expected to comport
themselves in a civilized manner and to treat their
fellow members with respect. We reserve the right
to revoke/refuse membership if we feel that a member
is not behaving themselves in a proper fashion.

Please
familiarize yourself with the chat commands and
functions by clicking on the help button by the
log-in screen or at the top of the chat screen,
as well as asking for help by the owners or other
players. We do request that if you are asking
for help that you do it in the OOC Hideway or
if you are in an role-play room, in whispers only.
Also, please note that the chat
program is waiting for an update but until that
time, your character name will remain in the OOC
Hideaway even if you have moved to another public
room or a private room. If this occurs when you
are looking for someone, you can find them by
using the /whereis command.
